Waterlox®s finishes once dry are difficult to remove. If some has made its way to an unintended surface and has cured, we only know of a few ways in which to remove it.
Suggested methods for removal:
- Razor blade knife;
- Acetone (nail polish remover); and/or
- Chemical Paint Stripper.
Our suggested methods for removal may not be safe for the surface in which you are trying to remove the dried and cured Waterlox; therefore you should test first.
